Alyssa Geis, MPH, CCLS is a certified child life specialist with the Comprehensive Care Clinic at Dell Children's in Austin, Texas. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and a master's degree from the University of South Carolina. Since 2010, Alyssa has worked with infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with primary focuses in day surgery, dialysis, kidney transplant, neonatal intensive care unit, cardiovascular surgery service line, heart transplant, and complex medical care. Alyssa specializes in procedural preparation and support, developmentally appropriate medical education, and sibling coping skills.
