Dr. Niviann M. Blondet is a Pediatric Transplant Hepatologist currently practicing at Seattle Children's Hospital. She completed her undergraduate studies and medical school at the University of Puerto Rico. Following this, she completed her Pediatrics Residency at the University of Texas (UT) in Houston and her Gastroenterology Fellowship at UT Southwestern in Dallas. She then pursued Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at the University of Washington. She has a special interest in pediatric non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and participates in multi-center research collaborations on NAFLD as part of the Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis Clinical Research Network; she also collaborates with Endocrinology providers and participates in a multidisciplinary clinic that treats children with comorbidities related to obesity. Dr. Blondet also has a passion for teaching and mentoring and serves as the Program Director of the Pediatric Transplant Hepatology Fellowship Program.
